Top 100 Baby Names

Need help with choosing a name for your baby? There are hundreds of the Top 100 Baby Names on line, all of which can guide you to that one name you have been searching for. It’s amazing what parents go through to find names for their babies.  Unlike years ago, when there were no computers, finding lists are a bit easier now.  There are also books, more like manuals, of baby names one can buy at a bookstore. 

Years ago, it seemed as if most babies were named Mary, John or other biblical names.  Fortunately, biblical names are still among the top 100 names for girls and boys. In addition, a baby can be named after an actor, actress, singer, dancer; a street, a town, a borough, a state; a mythic name; an historic name; a month or a gemstone.

Now that parents have the internet available to them, they can just go to any baby name site either at home or the library and avail themselves of lists upon lists of the top 100 baby names.
